Discover the many benefits of massage during pregnancy

Pregnancy is a very special time in a woman’s life that creates significant physiological, structural, and psychological changes. Understanding these changes will help you, the massage therapist, to determine the outcome of your treatment. It will give you the confidence and guidance to apply appropriate therapeutic massage to your pregnant client.

Pregnancy Massage Australia training aims to assist you to enhance your skills and knowledge to better support and nurture pregnant clients. The training helps therapists grow an awareness of the developing life and how you can support the mother through her own body changes which may present as muscular aches and pains. Testimonials

Our graduates love their training

I am a Remedial Therapist and completed the Practitioner of Pregnancy Massage with Pregnancy Massage Australia as a 5 day course in Perth in June 2019. The skills and techniques I gained from the course have been instrumental for me in being able to provide such a beautiful and beneficial holistic sequence in pregnancy massage for my clients. Having the specific tools to really help women with particular sore or troubled areas during each trimester, and seeing the results over time has been a game changer for me. I strongly recommend anyone wanting to focus on pregnancy massage to enrol in a course with PMA.

Natasha Williams

Body West WA

Life Naturally was born from Louise’s passion to work with women to feel the best they can during pregnancy and to be prepared for birth and early parenting.

Louise knows through her work as a Midwife the difference self-care makes to the happiness and wellbeing during pregnancy and for new mothers.

When Louise completed the Nurture Life Practitioner Training in 2015 it really enhanced her existing Acupuncture & HypnoBirthing Clinic. She learnt specific techniques to provide premium pregnancy massage services and the ongoing support from Pregnancy Massage Australia has contributed to her growth and confidence. Massage has been a wonderful compliment to her growing successful business in the beautiful seaside town of Inverloch.

Completing the Practitioner training with Pregnancy Massage Australia has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to provide high quality holistic treatments for women throughout their pregnancy and postnatal journey. I love seeing and hearing the benefits these treatments provide not only physically but mentally and emotionally. I have also greatly appreciated the connection to a network of highly skills therapists around Australia.
