We are very excited about the publication of our latest research findings: “The Effectiveness of massage in managing pregnant women with pelvic girdle pain: a randomised controlled crossover feasibility study”.
After receiving funding, research in collaboration with Western Sydney University started in late 2019, but then it stalled with the onset of Covid-19. We have now been able to complete our study; we are delighted with our findings and are now looking at moving to a larger study.

The study demonstrated the impact both massage and exercise can help women experiencing Pregnancy Related Pelvic Girdle Pain (PrPGP). With more than 40% of pregnant women presenting with PrPGP we are working to bring achievable positive outcomes in treatments that will ease this discomfort and support women on their journey through pregnancy
